On this website you can find information about the ontology-based model for the analysis of textual data. The objective of this project is the development of an ontology-based model and a set of tools to analyze text documents and to extract useful information from them. The model is organized in layers and packages, so it is possible to extends the functionality of the model depending on the domain of the application being developed. The main advantage of an ontology based model is that it is possible to use automatic reasoners in order to infer new knowledge.
