Bruno Ramos-Cruz (candidato a doctorado) cursa actualmente su doctorado en la Universidad de Jaén (España). Estudió la maestría en Ciencias de la Computación en el Instituto Nacional de Astrofísica, Óptica y Electrónica (México) y la licenciatura en Matemáticas en la Benemérita Autónoma de Puebla (México). Su investigación se centra en la seguridad de bases de datos externalizadas en computación en la nube, la estructura de datos autenticada, la criptografía y la cadena de bloques (blockchain).

Álvaro Labella es Doctor en Informática (2021) por la Universidad de Jaén, España, donde actualmente trabaja como Profesor Titular de Universidad en el grupo SINBAD2. Su investigación se centra en la toma de decisiones, la computación con palabras y el desarrollo de aplicaciones software. Es autor de 39 artículos de revista, 4 capítulos de libro y 46 contribuciones a congresos. Ha realizado estancias de investigación en Grecia, Reino Unido e Irlanda del Norte, esta última con el apoyo de una beca postdoctoral José Castillejo. Ha codesarrollado 3 sistemas de ayuda a la decisión con propiedad intelectual registrada y ha organizado varios números especiales de revista y sesiones especiales en congresos. También ha obtenido diversos reconocimientos, entre ellos, el Premio Ada Lovelace (2019) en la modalidad Mejor Aplicación, otorgado por la Universidad de Jaén, y varios Premios a la Mejor Contribución en conferencias internacionales como la International Conference on Intelligent and Fuzzy Systems o en la International Conference on Intelligent Systems and Knowledge.

Profesora Titular (área de conocimiento Lenguajes y Sistema Informáticos) de la Universidad de Jaén (España) desde 2003 y miembro del Departamento de Informática desde el año 1993. Doctora por la Universidad de Granada desde 2001. Sus intereses de investigación actuales son la innovación educativa, la promoción de las mejores prácticas en campus virtuales, el desarrollo de HS evolutivo y adaptativo y la aplicación de software evolutivo a herramientas de e-learning. Desde 2003 se dedica a la innovación docente y a la divulgación. Ha sido comisaria de dos exposiciones en la Universidad de Jaén y en la Universidad de Almería (Historia de la Microinformática: El Pasado de la Computación Personal, https://youtu.be/ueOyHJ51GkY) y de exposiciones y eventos sobre el proyecto cultural "Pioneras Informáticas" (https://pionerasinformaticas.ujaen.es/) de la que es coordinadora.
