Laboratorio de Inteligencia Artificial y Sistemas de Decisión

El laboratorio centra su actividad en la investigación aplicada y la transferencia tecnológica en
el ámbito de la inteligencia artificial, los sistemas de decisión y los sistemas de recomendación,
con el propósito de generar soluciones reales a retos científico‑técnicos y sociales. Su misión es
impulsar la transformación digital mediante la integración de metodologías de análisis de
datos, aprendizaje automático, lógica difusa y razonamiento grupal, favoreciendo entornos
más eficientes, confiables y sostenibles en la gestión de información y la toma de decisiones en
sectores estratégicos.
Entre sus principales líneas de trabajo se encuentra el desarrollo de modelos avanzados de
decisión y razonamiento para problemas complejos con el apoyo de la inteligencia artificial,
incluyendo técnicas de optimización, análisis multicriterio y consenso grupal. El laboratorio
investiga también sistemas inteligentes de recomendación y personalización, orientados tanto
a usuarios individuales como colectivos, con atención a la agregación de preferencias, la
adaptabilidad y la explicabilidad de los resultados. Además, se aplican métodos de análisis de
datos y aprendizaje automático para extraer conocimiento de grandes volúmenes de
información, optimizar procesos y apoyar la toma de decisiones en entornos industriales,
sociales y científicos. Finalmente, el laboratorio se enfoca en la transferencia de conocimiento
y la implementación de soluciones de IA responsable y aplicada, asesorando a organizaciones
en la adopción de sistemas inteligentes que sean eficientes, interpretables y socialmente
responsables.
