Bapi Dutta is a researcher in the Department of Computer Science at University of Jaén, specializing in computational intelligence and operations research. Originally from Kolkata, India, he earned his M.Sc. from the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee and completed his Ph.D. at the Indian Institute of Technology Patna. He previously worked as a Research Fellow at the Logistics Institute Asia Pacific, National University of Singapore, before joining the University of Jaén under the María Zambrano international talent program and later as a Ramón y Cajal researcher.
