Jessica is a substitute professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Jaén (Spain) and holds a PhD in Computer Science from the National Institute of Astrophysics, Optics and Electronics (INAOE, México 2023). Her research focuses on the numerical integration and synchronization of chaotic systems, distributed ledger technologies (blockchain), and quantum computing, and she also has experience in fuzzy logic and optimal control. She has published peer-reviewed work, including articles in JCR journals, book chapters, and international conferences, complemented by a doctoral research stay at the University of Birmingham (UK). Actively committed to international innovation, she also received advanced technology training in China after obtaining Huawei HCIA-AI certification. In addition to her research and university-level teaching in informatics, she is deeply committed to scientific dissemination, actively organizing and staffing outreach initiatives such as the European Researchers' Night, Escuela de la Ciencia UJA, Ciencia en Ruta UJA, and the International Day of Women and Girls in Science.
