The SINBAD2 research group has won one of the prestigious European projects in the line of innovation and exchange of personnel within the 'Marie Sklodowska-Curie RISE' action. This is the first European project that is awarded to the University of Jaen in the line of R & D + i of the Horizon 2020 program of the European Commission. Professor of the Department of Computer Science, Macarena Espinilla, and the group's director, Luis Martinez, will be the researchers involved in work that leads and coordinates Chris Nugent, professor of biomedical engineering at the University of Ulster. The project is entitled ‘The use of computational techniques to improve compliance to reminders within Smart environments’. Its aim is the creation of an international and interdisciplinary network to facilitate the exchange of personnel to progress in developing memory technologies, aimed primarily at people with dementia.
