"Profesor Titular de Universidad en la Universidad de Jaén desde el año 2010 y miembro del departamento de Informática desde el año 1997. La labor de investigación se ha centrado en las líneas de toma de decisión difusa, modelado de preferencias, sistemas de soporte a la decisión y computación con palabras. Autor de 12 publicaciones en revistas, 35 ponencias en congresos nacionales e internacionales, 5 capítulos de libros y 4 libros. He participado en 27 proyectos entre los que se encuentran 7 del Ministerio de Economía y Competitividad, 3 proyectos de investigación de Excelencia de la Consejería de Economía, Innovación y Ciencia de la Junta de Andalucía. La labor docente se ha centrado desde el año 2012 en el grado de Ingeniería Informática en las asignaturas de "Programación Concurrente y Distribuida" y "Sistemas Multiagente". Autor de 5 publicaciones docentes, un libro y participación en 5 proyectos de innovación docente. Más de 40 trabajos fin de grado, fin de máster y proyectos fin de carrera tutorizados. La gestión universitaria se ha desarrollado entre el año 2004 y 2008 como secretario del Departamento de Informática y entre el año 2008 y 2016 como director del Departamento de Informática.

Manuel José Barranco García es profesor en el departamento de Informática de la Universidad de Jaén. Desarrolla su labor investigadora principalmente en Sistemas de Recomendación: filtrado colaborativo, modelado de preferencias, etc. Tiene más de 10 publicaciones en revistas de prestigio relacionadas con éste área de investigación, 5 capítulos de libro y más de 30 contribuciones en congresos internacionales. Ha participado y participa en 21 proyectos I+D de ámbito regional, nacional e internacional, habiendo dirigido alguno de ellos.

Rosa M. Rodríguez, Titular de Universidad en la Universidad de Jaén, es Ingeniera y Doctora en Informática por la Universidad de Jaén en 2008 y 2013. Obtuvo el premio extraordinario de doctorado en el ámbito de Ingeniería y Arquitectura (concedido en 2017). Es autora de más de 80 publicaciones indexadas en SCI. Tiene más de 50 contribuciones en congresos internacionales. Es coautora de 6 capítulos de libro y del libro "The 2-tuple Linguistic Model. Raciel Yera es actualmente Investigador Postdoctoral Marie Curie en la Universidad de Jaén. Previamente ha sido profesor en el Departamento de Ciencias Informáticas en la Universidad de Ciego de Ávila, Cuba (2012-2022), y posteriormente Investigador Postdoctoral María Zambrano (2022-2024). Es Doctor en Ciencias Técnicas desde 2016, siendo su principal área de investigación la personalización y los sistemas de recomendación. Ha presentado su trabajo en revistas y conferencias reconocidas, como Knowledge-Based Systems, Decision Support Systems, Applied Soft Computing, o la conferencia User Modeling, Adaptation, and Personalization (UMAP).

Profesor en el Departamento de Informática de la Universidad de Jaén, con experiencia previa como investigador Marie Curie en la Universidad de Edimburgo y como profesor en la Universidad de Cádiz. También ha trabajado en la industria como investigador e ingeniero de software. Es miembro del grupo de investigación Sinbad2 y de la red  RIBCi . Posee un doctorado en Inteligencia Artificial por la Universidad de Edimburgo, otro doctorado en TIC, un máster en Educación y títulos de Ingeniería Técnica en Informática de Gestión y de Ingeniería Informática, todos por la Universidad de Jaén. Sus principales áreas de interés incluyen la Inteligencia Artificial, las Tecnologías de Registro Distribuido, el Internet de las Cosas, la Toma de Decisiones en Grupo, y la Educación.

Bapi Dutta is a researcher in the Department of Computer Science at University of Jaén, specializing in computational intelligence and operations research. Originally from Kolkata, India, he earned his M.Sc. from the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee and completed his Ph.D. at the Indian Institute of Technology Patna. He previously worked as a Research Fellow at the Logistics Institute Asia Pacific, National University of Singapore, before joining the University of Jaén under the María Zambrano international talent program and later as a Ramón y Cajal researcher.

Jessica is a substitute professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Jaén (Spain) and holds a PhD in Computer Science from the National Institute of Astrophysics, Optics and Electronics (INAOE, México 2023). Her research focuses on the numerical integration and synchronization of chaotic systems, distributed ledger technologies (blockchain), and quantum computing, and she also has experience in fuzzy logic and optimal control. She has published peer-reviewed work, including articles in JCR journals, book chapters, and international conferences, complemented by a doctoral research stay at the University of Birmingham (UK). Actively committed to international innovation, she also received advanced technology training in China after obtaining Huawei HCIA-AI certification. In addition to her research and university-level teaching in informatics, she is deeply committed to scientific dissemination, actively organizing and staffing outreach initiatives such as the European Researchers' Night, Escuela de la Ciencia UJA, Ciencia en Ruta UJA, and the International Day of Women and Girls in Science.

Diego García Zamora es Doctor en Tecnologías de la Información y la Comunicación (Universidad de Jaén, 2023) y Graduado en Matemáticas (Universidad de Granada, 2016). Posee la acreditación de Profesor Contratado Doctor por ANECA, el nivel C1 de inglés, y ha completado 27 cursos de formación en docencia, investigación e innovación educativa. Actualmente es Profesor Ayudante Doctor en el Departamento de Matemáticas de la Universidad de Jaén, donde coordina dos asignaturas de grado y ha impartido más de 500 horas de docencia oficial. Forma parte del grupo de investigación SINBAD2.   Su investigación se centra en la toma de decisiones multicriterio y multiexperto, lógica difusa, optimización y operadores de agregación. Ha publicado más de 25 artículos en revistas JCR, 23 de ellos en el primer cuartil (Q1), en revistas como Fuzzy Sets and Systems, Information Sciences, IEEE Transactions on Fuzzy Systems o European Journal of Operational Research. Ha presentado 21 contribuciones en congresos internacionales y ha sido distinguido con el “Best Paper Award” en ISKE 2023 y dos “Best Student Paper Awards” (ISKE 2021 y FLINS 2022). En 2024 recibió el premio a la excelencia en revisión de EJOR. Es editor invitado de un número especial en la revista Axioms y revisor habitual en más de diez revistas JCR de alto impacto.   Ha participado en cinco proyectos de investigación financiados, centrados en la toma de decisiones aplicadas a la sostenibilidad y la economía circular. Ha sido beneficiario del contrato FPU (FPU2019/01203) y de ayudas complementarias de movilidad del Ministerio de Universidades. En el ámbito de la transferencia, ha colaborado en un contrato con MGS Ingeniería Informática S.L. y es coautor del software registrado APOLLO, destinado al apoyo de políticas climáticas. Además, ha organizado sesiones científicas en congresos internacionales como FLINS/ISKE 2024 y Eureka 2023.   Ha realizado estancias de investigación en Ulster University (3 meses), Universidade de Lisboa (1 semana), Universidad Pública de Navarra (1 mes) y Universidad de Granada (3 meses). Colabora activamente con grupos de investigación internacionales en China, Portugal y Reino Unido. Ha dirigido un Trabajo Fin de Grado y una Tesis Doctoral defendida en 2024.   Comprometido con la divulgación científica, ha participado en numerosas actividades para fomentar las vocaciones STEM, incluyendo La Noche Europea de los Investigadores, Café con Ciencia, la Semana de la Ciencia y programas educativos como Hypatia o Escuela de la Ciencia. Asimismo, ha publicado artículos de divulgación en medios como The Conversation.
