Diego García Zamora es Doctor en Tecnologías de la Información y la Comunicación (Universidad de Jaén, 2023) y Graduado en Matemáticas (Universidad de Granada, 2016). Posee la acreditación de Profesor Contratado Doctor por ANECA, el nivel C1 de inglés, y ha completado 27 cursos de formación en docencia, investigación e innovación educativa. Actualmente es Profesor Ayudante Doctor en el Departamento de Matemáticas de la Universidad de Jaén, donde coordina dos asignaturas de grado y ha impartido más de 500 horas de docencia oficial. Forma parte del grupo de investigación SINBAD2.   Su investigación se centra en la toma de decisiones multicriterio y multiexperto, lógica difusa, optimización y operadores de agregación. Ha publicado más de 25 artículos en revistas JCR, 23 de ellos en el primer cuartil (Q1), en revistas como Fuzzy Sets and Systems, Information Sciences, IEEE Transactions on Fuzzy Systems o European Journal of Operational Research. Ha presentado 21 contribuciones en congresos internacionales y ha sido distinguido con el “Best Paper Award” en ISKE 2023 y dos “Best Student Paper Awards” (ISKE 2021 y FLINS 2022). En 2024 recibió el premio a la excelencia en revisión de EJOR. Es editor invitado de un número especial en la revista Axioms y revisor habitual en más de diez revistas JCR de alto impacto.   Ha participado en cinco proyectos de investigación financiados, centrados en la toma de decisiones aplicadas a la sostenibilidad y la economía circular. Ha sido beneficiario del contrato FPU (FPU2019/01203) y de ayudas complementarias de movilidad del Ministerio de Universidades. En el ámbito de la transferencia, ha colaborado en un contrato con MGS Ingeniería Informática S.L. y es coautor del software registrado APOLLO, destinado al apoyo de políticas climáticas. Además, ha organizado sesiones científicas en congresos internacionales como FLINS/ISKE 2024 y Eureka 2023.   Ha realizado estancias de investigación en Ulster University (3 meses), Universidade de Lisboa (1 semana), Universidad Pública de Navarra (1 mes) y Universidad de Granada (3 meses). Colabora activamente con grupos de investigación internacionales en China, Portugal y Reino Unido. Ha dirigido un Trabajo Fin de Grado y una Tesis Doctoral defendida en 2024.   Comprometido con la divulgación científica, ha participado en numerosas actividades para fomentar las vocaciones STEM, incluyendo La Noche Europea de los Investigadores, Café con Ciencia, la Semana de la Ciencia y programas educativos como Hypatia o Escuela de la Ciencia. Asimismo, ha publicado artículos de divulgación en medios como The Conversation.
