Rosa M. Rodríguez, Titular de Universidad en la Universidad de Jaén, es Ingeniera y Doctora en Informática por la Universidad de Jaén en 2008 y 2013. Obtuvo el premio extraordinario de doctorado en el ámbito de Ingeniería y Arquitectura (concedido en 2017). Es autora de más de 80 publicaciones indexadas en SCI. Tiene más de 50 contribuciones en congresos internacionales. Es coautora de 6 capítulos de libro y del libro "The 2-tuple Linguistic Model. Computing with Words in Decision Making" publicado en Springer en 2015. Ha sido clasificada como investigadora altamente citada (ESI) en 2019-2022. Obtuvo el premio al mejor trabajo de estudiante de doctorado en el congreso International Conference on Machine Learning and Cybernetics celebrado en Tianjin (China) en 2013 y ha recibido el IEEE Transactions on Fuzzy Systems Outstanding Paper Award 2012 (entregado en 2015). Es Managing Editor en la revista International Journal of Computational Intelligence Systems y editor asociado en las revistas IEEE Transactions of Fuzzy Systems, Engineering Applications of Artificial Intelligence, IEEE Open Journal of the Computer Society y International Journal of Fuzzy Systems indexadas en SCI. Sus intereses de investigación incluyen modelado de preferencias lingüística, toma de decisión, sistemas de soporte a la decisión y sistemas basados en lógica difusa.
