Abtin Ijadi Maghsoodi is a Ph.D. student in Operations and Supply Chain Management at the Department of Information Systems and Operations Management, University of Auckland, New Zealand. He has been awarded the University of Auckland Business School Dean's Doctoral Scholarship. He received his M.Sc. degree in Industrial and System’s Engineering, in 2018, and a B.Sc. degree in Industrial Engineering, in 2015, both from Azad University, Iran. He has more than 5 years of job experience as Business Analyst and Business Development Specialist. In 2020, Abtin has been accredited by Operational Research (OR) Society as Candidate Associate [CandORS]. While being a PhD student, he is a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the Department of Information Systems and Operations Management, University of Auckland, New Zealand. Since 2018, he has also been a visiting researcher (research collaborator) at the Sinbad² research group [acronym of Sistemas Inteligentes Basados en Análisis de Decisión Difusos (In English: Intelligent Systems Based on Fuzzy Decision Analysis] at the University of Jaén, Spain, working on Decision Support Tools for Large Scale Complex Systems. He has authored several research papers published in highly ranked journals including Elsevier’s Computers & Industrial Engineering, Elsevier’s Knowledge-based Systems, Archives of Civil and Mechanical Engineering. Abtin is an active member of the Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences (INFORMS) and International Society on Multiple Criteria Decision Making.
